It will work but it sounds like you are wiring different battery types in a unbalanced method. This will cause the batteries to charge/discharge differently and effect their life.
Use only the new trojans or the current Lance battery possibly with a switch to select which one. This applies to both charge and discharge.
But then it's not clear to me exactly what you are planning.
