Battery isolator charge vehicle battery on shore power

I have a new to me 02 Roadtrek on a Chevy chassis. There is what looks to be a newer 4 post isolator, I see no name brand or specs on it. I have been RV'ing long time and never had an isolato...

Diode based isolators tend to introduce voltage drop. Solenoid's do not, if the wire is sufficiently large.

A dc to DC charger may be best.
