CAC hose
I need to replace a big CAC hose on the passenger side on a Caterpillar 3126-E 330 hp engine. I had to order the hose from Freightliner in Atlanta, Georgia only place in the whole country that had the hose, so they say.
I was wondering how hard of a job it is to change it out. It is easy to get to, but I was wondering if once I pull the spring clamps off if it is going to be glued to the CAC and the other end to the manifold to the turbo charger or am I going to have to cut it with a knife or box opener.
Then how hard is it to install the new hose. 13" in circumference on the CAC and 11 inches circumference on the manifold end, 35 inches long.
Has anybody changed one of these and could share the experience.
