Carrier AIR V Blower wheel

Has anybody found a replacement for one of these? Seems Carrier no longer provides parts.

Upper unit Model Number 68RV15102A Part number 99-00468-08
Blower wheel assembly Part number 38-50034-00SV

Google and I are not having much luck.

Final answer. I did manage to find one fairly close in size and in the correct direction at Grainger.

Item # 4GLZ7, Dia. 7 7/16", width 3 1/4 inch, Arbor 1/2 inch, Direction CCW.

I ordered it last evening after 5 PM and it was delivered to my door at noon today.

Total cost with PA Tax and $12.25 shipping was $102.03.

You could try calling RV Parts Mall in Sarasota, FL. - 941-359-3001.

They had a fan motor and wireless thermostat for our Carrier a couple of years ago.

Visiting one this afternoon. The problem is I don't have a part number. And in this day and age of computers, if they can't enter a number and have the computer tell them where it is, "they don't have it". It's really going to depend on how helpful the counter guy is.

Still on the hunt. It would be great if online sellers didn't use a "stock" photo of the same wheel for different products. Apparently I need a counterclockwise wheel. And the one I said I found above that was CCW has a 2-4 week lead time before shipping. We go on vacation in 2 weeks.

For me to have a happy life the wife needs working A/C....

I found a suitable replacement.



On ebay of all places. 3/8" smaller Diameter but I should make up for that loss in airflow when I clean the coils....

FYI if you suddenly start getting more noise from the fan in your air conditioner the plastic fan is probably cracked. It wasn't a whole lot more noise but the sound definitely changed.

If you had ask in May. I'd have one for you. but I gave it away in June along with the motor it was attached to.

You can still get 'em. but you may have to find 'em. Or order them they were not made by Carrier but are actually a standard part. If the RV dealer can't help you try a HEVAC shop.

Thanks for trying, 4" won't work.

The wheel is 8 5/16" across, 3 3/8" deep, has a 1/2" Arbor and a clockwise direction.

Closest I have found is 8 1/4 x 3 1/4 x 1/2 BUT it is counter clockwise.
