Champion 3100 $699

Cabelas has these on sale for $699. Occasionally they also send out coupons for $100 off a purchase over $500. I bought mine in December when they had it on sale for $725 plus a $50 of coupon.
  • I bought ours to power one of our 15k AC units and our residential fridge during power outages. It powers both with no problem, is quiet and good on fuel.
  • Yes, it will power my 15k AC in Arizona.

I bought mine from Costco a few weeks ago. It too was $699. I sold my 2000i for what I paid within a day of listing it. The Honda would not power my AC. Best thing about Costco is I can always return it for a full refund if anything goes wrong with it.

With the Cabellas version above - the one drawback that I didn't like is the accessory setup is the positive and negative leads type of connection. With the one at Costco (slightly different part number and black), it has a cigarette type of connection for accessories.
  • Will this power the ac. I was looking at getting 2 2000 Honda but if this would work for ac running and ac start up.
  • I caught mine on sale at Home Depot about a year ago for $709.99 with free shipping to the store nearest us. The Cabelas price is a good deal.
  • That's a nice deal. Wish I could trade straight across for my Honda.
