Connecting a trailer Brake Controller

Howdy,
Has any one connected a trailer brake controller to a similar vehicle to this one: 2002 E350 with 2003 Mini Wini 24v. V10. Not sure if there is a plug for a controller pigtail or will I need to wire it in with power, to the brake switch and output out to the new 7 pin plug. I has a 6 pin but I do not think that can accommodate electric brakes. All input appreciated. Thank you

Easiest is to buy a plug and play harness from the controller mfg to your exact vehicle specs. As for the 6-7 pin question, the only difference is usually a wire for backup lights. Download from the internet a Bargman wiring diagram. All mfgs in the last 20 years have used that schematic

X 2 I always just buy the plug and play adapter when changing TV's makes it really easy to hook up that way.
