As long as the current being used ( your heater) or a bad connection does not exceed the rating of the curcuit breaker, it will not trip. And they may not trip right away if they are overloaded. It may be overloaded by 20% or more before it trips. They usually trip instantanly only on a short. Hot and neutral together. For novices they call everything a SHORT. I've seen a lot of damage from burnt connections (usually the kind where the wire gets plugged into the outlet) and the breaker didn"t trip. No need to, it wasn"t overloaded. Be Safe check your plugs and outlets during use for heat.
