- hellbird503ExplorerOk, thanks for your replies, Dave
- wingsfan20ExplorerOrder one from Amazon. Worked for me.
- ICamelExplorerOr you could go whole hog and replace the door lock with one from Fastec.

And then you can replace all your outside slam baggage doors with a lock cylinder that is keyed the same as your door lock.

Just order the same code for the cam locks as your door lock. - mlts22ExplorerI know it would be expensive, but I wonder about taking a FIC door lock apart, 3D scanning it or just inputting the precise measurements of everything into a CAD program, then having a local company that does Iconel metal sintering "print" out a lock. The advantage of this would be that it would be extremely durable, but I'm sure this would be extremely pricy.
Of course, I wonder if it would be possible to go back to the pre-2000s and go back to having a residential deadbolt or even a surface mounted night latch. This wouldn't look pretty, but it would work, year after year. - Nutinelse2doExplorerWe purchased one of these and haven't had any issues so far.
Door Lock - hellbird503ExplorerI would rather not use another FIC lock, first one failed and with no customer service, would rather not do business with them anyway.
