Flat Inner Dual Tire :-(

Quick question for you all...I recently discovered that the inner rear dual tire is flat on my coach. The tire doesn't have any visible damage although it does look as it is off the bead. My questions are:

*Any idea what may have caused the "flat"?
*Can I take it to my local Discount Tire-type please for repair?

The tire is a 19.5" tire on a Chevy Kodiak chassis.

Is it still on your coach? If so, how are you going to take it anyplace ... A) take it off yourself, or B) have an ERS take it off for you.

If A), I'm curious - please let us know how that goes.

If B), FWIW - I dropped our ERS after decades because they refused to service a rear dual inner flat on our motorhome (the very reason I had their ERS for our motorhome!). What ERS do you have?

Without having the tire and wheel to examine, anything we say would be pure guess work. The flat could have been caused by anything from a nail in the tire to a loose or sticky valve stem to a rusty spot on the wheel bead seat. Or something else...

1) A nail caused the flat.
2) No, take it to a truck shop. The punk kids at Discount WILL damage your coach.
