Fridge fixed but need a no drill repair
Well after 14 months with the new TC I finally got the fridge working when driving. I had to put a cover over the roof exhaust to stop the down draft from extinguishing the flame, tried a deflector in front of the exhaust, tried using filters at the bottom intake to stop the draft nothing seemed to work but now this fix worked, after 6 hr drive temps were still at 33 degrees. Now does anyone have a way to attach this cover to the aluminum roof, I don't want to drill holes as I have to plug the roof where the antenna was, it was in the way where the roof vent is and where the new vent cover is on. Does anyone know will JB weld be strong enough to hold down the vent as I have to hinge the vent so I can still have access to the roof vent to clean it. Right now I have the cover, (a max air roof vent cover) screwed to one side of the exhaust and then duck taped the bottom to the camper, (duck tape worlds best quick repair stuff) here are some pics of how I have a temporary fix
