When you say "the plug that goes into the power supply" Are you talking about the plug that goes into the park outlet or do you use power supply as I do.. (Some RV's have single stage converters like the Parallex 7300 (no T) that Very close to a "power supply" for a Radio.. in fact I have a very nice 30 amp one (Different make but works the same) I use for a rather big radio)

on the plug..blades nice and shiny or dark. if dark a wire brush THEN De-Oxit and De-oxit Protectant are good choices...
The outlet you can not easily wire brush (know how to do it but it's not easy and there can be a problem plus the outlet.. is not my problem.)
