I am looking for a auto start system for my generator when I lose power at a campground when I am not around, I have a Onan 5500 watt gen, was looking for the Onan EC-30W auto start but seems no one has it in stock..

Any other good products out there that will work without spending a ton of money.

Well I got the device and installed it and works just as they say it does, easy hookup and smaller than it looks in the pic.

Well I went ahead and ordered this device above, will give updates when I install it and test it out, it appears I have to get a shut off switch and install the switch inside my RV and the device near my generator.

Impressive they chose a MEANWELL controller. You do not want junk that tries to restart an already running generator. I've seen too many of these products that had earned a place beneath my rear duals.

Talk to them at your local Home Depot. The home units they sell may well work for your application.
Most of them are based on Generac units. But they still start from a 12 volt battery, they do have an automated start and switching system that ties into the main power feed.
