Generator Deals

Harbor freight, great for cheap tools that are one time use or not used regularly.

Would not even consider a generator from them. Get the Champion as it already has a good reputation

That's way loud for an inverter generator!

The Champion 3500 open framed contractor style generator is only 1db louder and cost about $300.
and will power much more than that HF one.

Personally, I rather pay a little more for a Champion 2000w that's 10db quieter.

My coupon came in the mail today... $399, what a deal.

I read the reviews there, yesterday. Sounds like it does not put out the power it says, more like 1800/2100, but people pretty happy with it other than that.

what's the db rating on it?

I saw the sale flier. If the regular price was $399, and went on sale I would take a chance.
I guess my jury is still out on HF generators. JMO
