It won't run on Shore Power and Generator at the same time. A "transfer" is required. Some coaches have an Auto Transfer Switch that should disconnect Shore and use Generator when it "sees" generator voltage. Or, a Manual "transfer" where you plug your Shore Tie cable into a receptacle powered by the generator. Should be in the compartment your cable stores in. Have you done that?
There's a Main Breaker in the coach's interior panel. Have you checked it?
Also, the generator itself has a breaker on it. That breaker must be working to pass power to the coach. If you have ONAN Micro series, it's on the side of the control box, to the right of the Start/Stop switch. Might need mirror, flashlight, glasses, to read which way is On and which is Tripped/Off. Check it too.
