generator placement thoughts?
Hello everyone! I'm brand new to your forum just today!
I have a rv that I have been constructing for about 7 years now. It is a Kenworth T600 tractor with a 53' Greatdane trailer. A few months ago I successfully completed the rv title conversion so things are going well.
I'm contemplating mounting my Honda eu6500 generator to the front of the trailer above my propane bottles. Now it rides in the rear of the trailer and when I want to turn it on I have to winch the trailer ramp door down and pull it down the ramp. Its a pain to do this and the generator is heavy!
I figure if I mount it outside I will need to enclose it as well while still letting it get air somehow. Has anyone done anything like this before and does anyone have any suggestions?
