Good little Inverter

Thanks for the test niner, I think I'll give it a shot,

Discharged the Dell down to 75% temaining
Fired the inverter on 5AH battery. Battery dropped from 12.9 to 12,4 on startup.
Then over a 30 minute charge, batt dropped to 11.4, and Dell 100% charged.
Temp on Dell charger was no issue, hardly warm to the touch, I would have to run the same test on the ac line to know if it runs any cooler.
And again, the little inv is completely quiet.

It doesn't have a usb port, ac sockets only. But I will try a charger on it today.
In all my RV'n years, and 5 different inverters, I have never noticed any charger, phone or pc charger to get hot from MSW.
The only thing I ever ruined from MSW is my microwave years ago, whose heating ability slowly went downhill over a period of a couple years.
I always look......ebay the PSW inverters,...just because they are better ??? But then I think,.....I don't need one.

I sure would think it is a MSW. But I was amazed that it did not add noise to a sound amplifier, but in fact filtered out the normal hum it always had. Besides, that, that speaker has a 300 watt max input wattage. But it didn't give even a hint of distortion even on the loudest peaks. And the batt voltage held 12.4 down to 12.2 on a 30 minute gig. I'm still amazed at its performance.

Longivity ??? But it does not seem to run hot at all, and like I said, perfectly quiet.

Oh yeah, forgot to say this, it has a cig liter plug. so the first thing I do is chop the plug off. But somehow (easier when ya get old)
I crossed the polarity, and it was lites out. So hoping for the best, I pull the back off, and there sits a smoked 30 amp fuse,.....replace it, and it works like a new'rn. That's when I could not see any fan inside.

At that price you can rest assured it is not.

Great price on a small inverter and the fact that it is quiet is a big plus. 300w is the smallest PSW inverters that I am finding starting at $69.

Looking more I found Aims has a 180w PSW for $69 and there are a few other above that.

At that price, I would be shocked if it were anything other than MSW. I doubt it's much different from the numerous other inexpensive MSW inverters with similar specifications. It is a good price, assuming the construction and components are not too sub-standard.

I was looking on-line and on ebay as well and couldn't find any mention whether it was Pure Sine Wave or not. Usually if it isn't mention you can be sure it isn't...

I got too much electronics on my Power Inverter to trust anything except SINE WAVE type power...


Sounds like a great price however... I use a couple of low wattage elcheapo units here for outside lights only...

I started out with a 150WATT size and went to 300WATTS and after I found out how neat they were to have around I ended up with my work horse Power Inverter being a 600WATT PSW model. ALways nice to have extra wattage just in case you need need it... My daily runs when camping OFF ROAD usually draws around 300WATTS demand between the 6PM to 11PM when we are in turning in for the night...
