I superglued a suction cup mount and it worked for me, of course I lost it when I had the windshield replaced. Now I have one that mounts to dash with 3M adhesive, and is held to my phone or GPS with a magnet so I can easily switch. If I was having problems with this one sticking and wanted it permanently on the windshield I would probably superglue it too.
