Gray tank is loose and leaking

I noticed some water under the RV the other day and climbed under to find that one side of the gray tank has worked its way loose. It seems to hold water from the sinks without a problem, but taking a shower puts a lot of water weight into the plastic tank and it will leak over the top edge of the tank. Does anyone have any idea how to effectively secure the tank so it won't leak?
  • Without seeing pics it is hard to offer advise. In a nut shell you need to buy some angle iron or steel straps and secure the tank to the frame. And in your case fix the leak as well.

This image shows the gray tank hanging down.

This image shows the leak point where the tank leaks over the top.

This images shows where the tank sits when pushed up to its highest point.

  • If the leak is not to bad, hot clue will repair it,hot glue is PVC and your tank should be PVC too. just clean really good and use the hot glue to patch the crack. Also there are patch kits that can be purchased, but as stated if possible the tank need to be secured in place first
