Honda EU2000i

I believe I just saw Cabela's offering a $50 rebate/gift card on the purchase of any/all their Honda generators...

I purchased my two generators from MotoSports of Ukiah. They advertise in Trailer Life Magazine as the "lowest prices anywhere". I checked out the price at Mayberry's and they beat their price and others.
Call and get their prices at 1-800-832-7365.

I bought mine about 13 years back also. One came from Wise and one from NW Power Tools. If I remember correctly one was $879 and the other was $889, delivered. Prior to that I bought a EU3000is from Mayberry's.

I don't know how Honda managed to put the clamps on these companies but, apparently they did.

Now, Mayberry's asks you to fill out your contact information online and they will get back to you.

I bought mine from Mayberry Sales and Service in New Jersey. They're still around and the web site says the eu2000i MSRP is 1,149. I see them regularly offered at 999, occasionally with a gift card rebate. You could ask Mayberry what they're selling them for. I paid 899 for mine 13 years ago. I think the list price then was 999. If you consider 13 years of inflation, you could argue that the price has come down. IMO if you want the very best, you pay for the Honda. If you're willing to compromise a bit, some of the newer competitors are possibly a better value. I'd have a tough time with the decision if I were making it now. 13 years ago there were no viable alternatives. I amazed that after that many years the eu2000i isn't an obsolete hulk.

A few years back, i got both of mine from Wise Sales.... no longer in business i guess, as i cant locate them..
