Hot water heater - electric side

Cannot get the 120v electric side of my 6 gallon Attwood water heater running. Electric switch lights up, but no 120v at the element. 120v going to the relay but not going to the back of the element. Replaced the relay but still no 120v going to the relay. Any sggestions.

IF it works on gas but not on electric here is the test set up. NOTE that by replacign the relay you may have covered one step.

Hook a volt meter or test light across the relay coil. IF you see battery voltage or light lights.. Control board is good. new relay is bad

If you do not see voltage. And I suspect you will not.> MOve test probes to control board (you will need to id the pin for hte positive probe. IF you see voltage then the wire is broke.. I do not think you will see power

NO power at the Relay pin on the control boaard

Contact Dinosaur boards for a new COntrol board and AC adapter and cover.
