Hot water heater: electric to propane

My rv tech switched my 6 gal water heater to electric since I was out of propane last year and now, I want to turn it back to propane. My camper is having electrical issues and this my be contributing to drawing too much juice.

Thanks for any suggestions.

    Turn OFF the 'electric' ON/OFF Switch and turn ON the 'gas' ON/OFF switch.

    Provided the propane is valved in service and the water temperature is below water heater t-stat setting it should fire off.

    If you have a Suburban water heater the electric ON/OFF switch is in outside compartment in a corner.....just a rocker switch.
