LCI Level Up hydraulic jack leaking - what to do next?

Hopefully someone can chime in here. We took delivery of our Raptor about a month ago and we've been out two times in it for approx 3 days each time. The trailer has been parked now for about a week with the jacks down.

I just noticed this afternoon that there is a substantial amount of hydraulic fluid around the front right jack. The trailer didn't seem to dip down much of any on that jack. I'm not sure how long it's been leaking but I did clean up the pool of fluid on the foot about 2 hours ago and now it's back. Being Sunday I can't take the trailer to the dealership. I was planning on taking it there either tomorrow or Tuesday. in the mean time I put a 6k jack stand under the frame near the jack in case it does retract a bit.

Does anyone have any experience with this happening? I cant tell where the fluid is leaking from but it is all over the shaft and lower part of the mount.

Being that this is on the front right of the trailer (essentially replacing a standard landing jack) am I going to be able to use the jack to lift it up to get on my truck if it continues to leak like this?
  • Its the LCI 6pt Level Up - it's on a new 2016 Raptor. I'm taking it the dealership tomorrow or Tuesday depending if they can get me in. I don't want the jack to collapse on itself though in the mean time.

How old is the RV? Mine developed 3 leaks over the years, 2 were hyd lines that I tightened and it fixed the leaks the other was the small dia piston on the upper jack. This was on a HWH system the leak stopped by itself after a period of time. If you wipe the jacks down good you should be able to see where the leak is coming from after you cycle it a few times especially if is creating a pool of fluid on the foot of the jack.
  • Yes it will lift the trailer, if the leak is on the road side the jack may fall slowly but the other side of the piston lifts the trailer.
  • That's all dry where the fluid gets pumped in at the top. It appears to be coming out of the bottom by the shaft.
  • Check all the fittings in the hydraulic pump area for a loose connection.
