Low Oxygen Alarm

I wanted to install a vent free propane heater in my ice fishing trailer, the one I am looking at has a low oxygen shutoff, but I would like a little more redundancy. I have an LP/CO alarm that works off of 12 volt, but I was wondering if anyone made an RV grade low oxygen alarm similar to these or similar to a smoke alarm? Most of what I can find online if for industrial use where nitrogen is present of for personal use.
  • Both my Olycat heaters have Oxygen sensor shutoff. I have never had one shut down, even w/ no open venting. These oxy sensor heaters were discontinued because they supposedly will not burn at over 6,000 ft elevation. I have never verified that to be true, because I never camp in hi elevation.
  • I did the same search. Here's what I came up with. CO alarm is easy, and loud. With an O2 depletion you will wake up gasping for breath. So, there will be some forewarning.
