LP gas Leak Detector won't shut off

Hi has anyone had a issue with their LP gas detector and how is it maintained etc. Mine went off at 10pm last night and i pressed the mute button and it stopped and a minute later came back on. I shut the gas off at the tank and opened the coach windows like the book said but it still continued to beep. The red light came on and not the orange(fault) and i put a fan in front of it and it stoped for the night. It came on again this morning so i disconnected it and took it appart and blew it out and ran a Q tip in and around it.I don't know if i should replace it as i have not hooked it back up yet.Paul..
  • I was thinking that if you you are plugged in , the converter should be putting 13.2v to your batteries. Check your converter before getting new batteries.
  • Thanks for the help all. It was the battery sooooooo 299.00 plus and i am all set with new 6 volt batts. Intercity ??? had Trojan 105 in it but none close by and no time. RV learning is great. paul..
  • Thanks all, It does say in the product lit that it should not go below 8.5 so i will check 12 volt batt as i just filled them w/water a week ago? distilled. thanks for the info...paul
