Messy Battery Corrosion Compounds?

Anhydrous Lanolin. Sheep wool grease. Much less messy than grease or petroleum jelly. Contains no sulfur compounds to stain copper dark brown. Eco-friendly to the skin. And bar-none protection for battery posts and terminals. Stuff washes right out of clothing.

It's a yellow translucent jelly. Available at drug stores pharmacist's counters or online on eBay or Amazon.com

Shop around. Like anything else some retailers think their products don't stink and charge ten times their real worth.

Sometimes, their product does stink... they add scent to them.

Read the bottom of the ad for choice of scents.
  • Fluid Film is a spray version that works well to protect marine equipment. I keep it around for that and it does great on terminations.
