Need AC help
My husband just replace our 2013 Dometic Ac with the new dometic Brisk Air II. Works fine, compressor kicks on and off but the fan runs co tinuously, never kicks off. Does anyone know what is probably the cause of this?

- OK, so I feel dumb! I had my 22 yr old son to look at it and he said the fan was set to high not auto. He showed me how to change it. Problem solved!
- Probably the fan setting as mentioned. But we run our fan the majority of the time, because it is quiet annoying when it turns off and on during the night. I sleep better with the consistent noise.
- Thanks so much for replies. I will have to wait for the weekend to check the auto setti g out. We had to put it back in our shop for bad weather. Hope to see Sunday if i can fix it.

Fact. If you cycle the fan on and off it is much much much more annoying than letting the fan run constantly. - Need to know if it has a wall tstat or ceiling mount controls. Changing the top AC unit ONLY, will not change the way the original controls operated the Unit. If Ceiling controls, there is NO way to put the fan on Auto. Wall mount controls will have an Auto setting to turn the Fan OFF. Doug
- Mine has low fan, high fan, low cool and high cool but no auto fan.

- in our MH we have the Coleman Mach 8. our thermostat fir cooling has 5-options,,,
- low cool
- high cool
- auto cool
- low fan
- high fan
on low or high cool the fan runs continuously but the compressor will start/stop based on the temp set at the t-stat. on auto cool both the compressor and fan will start/stop together again based on the need for cooling. maybe your Dometic is the same??
