While traveling yesterday, my temp light came on suddenly, then when I was able to find a place to stop my low water light came on. I ran back to the engine to look and antifreeze was pooring down by the oil pan where the pullies are. I got towed to a freightlinner shop and am waiting for my turn. But was wonder what is up there above the pullys that would gush that much antifreeze. Is there a water hose up there that could have burst or what else could it be. Cant see a thing from under it. Am speculating what happened cause Im worried that it could be worse. Jim Swor 04 tiffin Phaeton, 330 cummins diesel
Was the water pump. Cost was about $160 for pump and $1400 labor. Also would have been $2000 more without CoachNet towing. Hope I get home without another problem. Jim
