Had an Atwood acnd unit installed on our coach. It was quieter and moved more air than the penguin 2 it replaced, but the heat pump would not raise the heat at all. Numerous calls to Atwood (Dometic) indicated the unit was working exactly as it was supposed to. It just would not heat enough to heat anything. Finally took it off and replaced it with another penguin unit. If looking for a little heat stay away from them
Dometic acknowledges that the Atwoods are quieter. But, I still would not have one. They will be an orphan brand in a few years. Doug
