- BFL13Explorer IIYour converter works ok!
Battery power not reaching the 12v panel. Why not?
-battery disconnect switch
-battery fuse or DC circuit breaker within 18" of battery on pos wire
-dead battery
-battery wires corroded no contact - rjf7gExplorerI just had to replace an in-line 50A fuse that shorted out because of moisture...it was within 18" of the battery.
- Battery is dead or has an open connection to the RV.
Voltmeter will tell the tale if you start poking around. - Crazy_RayExplorerBFL13. My converter is putting out 13.39 volts, battery power is reaching 12 panel (BCC box), Battery disconnect switch is working. What do you mean fuse or DC circuit breaker within 18" on battery + side? Could not find any fuse. Battery reads 12.9 at battery/TriMetric/volt meter. Batteries wires clean. What else could be wrong? Thank you. Ray

DC auto reset breaker
In-line fuse holder
Disconnect shore power and/or tow vehicle. Wait a few minutes and reconnect. If problem is still there, look for an in-line fuse or circuit breaker on positive side of the battery. They're not always within 18 inches.
Some of the breakers are auto reset (that was purpose of the disconnect and reconnect), some have a push button. When they won't reset, they need replacement. They are available at most auto parts stores.
Start at house battery/s and follow the positive cable, back towards the converter. - BFL13Explorer IIAs above.
Plus where is the BCC box? Are you getting that same battery 12.9v there? I don't have a Class A, so I can't tell if the 12.9 is well inside past those things like the battery disconnect switch etc I first mentioned.
On that switch, you have the switch you use inside the rig, but it just switches another switch (solenoid) somewhere (by the engine?) that sometimes sticks and causes the problem.
Anyway somebody who knows Class As would be more use than I am here. - mena661ExplorerOn my rig, there is a resettable DC breaker on the ground wire (negative) within a couple of inches of the frame (front bumper).

So the stack of branch fuses all have 12v power when just on battery?
This is not adding up.
Must be a problem in the BCC box. Does it have a make or model number?- Crazy_RayExplorerAll of you that are helping me, I will check the things you have said Monday morning and let you know. thanks Ray
