No Rear Access to Shower Valve
The mixing T on my shower valve (Dura) is cracked and leaking.
Easy fix, right? The problem is that it's a corner shower on 2 exterior walls and there's no way to get behind it to remove the water lines & mounting nuts to replace it. Dura offers a replacement "T" but I don't know if you can replace it w/o rear access.
So - does anybody make an access panel that I can install near the shower valve from inside the shower? Maybe something to bolt in place after I cut a 4" hole in the enclosure? I really don't want to tackle removing the whole enclosure to get access behind it.
I could let the dealer do it (warranty) but he's 2 hours away.
