It is hard to diagnose by looking at pictures, but that problem doesn't look like it is related at all to the recall, and I would suspect the recall has been done, by now. It looks like an electrical issue, not an issue with the gas valve. I'll also point out that has been rebuilt- the cooling unit is a Nucold (not Norcold).
The reason for the recall is a French built gas valve that the safety valve doesn't shut off 100%, and can leak LP gas if the unit is turned to LP but the flame is extinguished.
