Norcold. Is it possable
I seam to have a unique problem. My norcold 1200 lrim works great on electric but not so well on propane. I have cleaned the orifice, the burner, the flue and baffle. Changed the propane regulator and added 4 120m fans to the top ven. My flame is strong and blue. Disconnected the thermistor and bypassed the thermostat. I checked the air flow to make sure it goes up the coils. The freezer Temps on electric runs -8. The refrigerator temp at the fins is 22 with the temp setting at the highest point 9 with an outside temp of 85 deg. Now on propane the freezer is 5 to 7 degrees with the refrigerator at the fins is 40. It was suggested since it runs great on electric, that there may be a crack in the weld between the flue and the pipe which heats the liquid not allowing the heat to transfer efficiently . In the countless hours of research I have done i have never come across this information before and how to remedy the problem. I know u can't reweld the cracks but how about several large hose clamps and some thermol grease to get the heat to transfer.
