The inner seals are bad. The ONLY fix is to rebuild or replace that jack cylinder. Doug

I have the same problem. Also worse in cold weather.

I bought a long pry bar to get mine back up. Best and quickest solution is to make a camping field trip, and go to the Moscow, IA factory to get it fixed. There are several places to stay around close, and we spend one night there at the factory parking area. I don't remember whether they had power connections there, but its a good possibility. Call the service rep at the factory and ask, they make an appointment. Didn't have any more problems with ours after that.

When the temp is real cool, my left rear HWH jack needs to be persuaded. :B
I had the springs replaced with the new type, but they did not help. :M
