I have to relplace my outdoor speakers. They are surface mount and only have small hole for the wiring. I want to cut bigger holes and install something nicer. I have a fiberglass sided TT. What I have now is below. Is cutting larger holes a DIY job?

You will probably have an issue as RV walls are about 1.5" thick.

The round ones you referenced has the following Mounting Depth: 2.48"

Try opening up your existing speakers, and then stick a stiff wire in the hole (push through the foam insulation) then measure how deep.

You might be able to find a bezel to hold the speaker out from the wall.

Good luck!
