There's absolutely no need or reason to subject your genset(s) to significant load by running any more than one high load device at any given time. It's called power management - if the A/C is running when you want to use the microwave for a few minutes just dial back the A/C thermostat so the compressor kicks off and remains off while you're using the MW ... same approach we used when my wife wanted to use her hair dryer. If I were in your shoes I'd sell one of those EF2000iS gensets and use part of the proceeds to add the aforementioned Micro-Air Soft Starter Kit to the A/C which will allow it to run on just one EF2000iS. K.I.S.S.

Yes, your paralleled Yams will run the AC and other items within reason. The only additional thing I would add is that when camping at 10,000 feet my paralleled Honda 2000s struggle with the AC if I add either the microwave, coffee maker or toaster oven. Because of loss of power at altitude, it takes both of them to run just the microwave.

Of course, but interpreting the genset's floating neutral output as an open ground has nothing to do with Progressive's Yamaha EF2000iS disclaimer ... read it and it's obvious Progressive is convinced the EF2000iS's waveform which can become irregular under certain conditions will destroy any of their EMS units, thereby voiding the Progressive EMS lifetime warranty.

Both Honda and Yamaha have problems with the Progressive EMS unit. I believe the EMS sees an open ground. This can be solved with a neutral ground bonding plug inserted in either generators 15amp outlet. It's just a plug with a jumper between the neutral and ground posts. neutral ground plug
A Suppco hard start capacitor will help but the two genies should be able to do it on their own.

Probably would if you were to equip your A/C with a Micro-Air 364 Soft Starter, as reports from Honda EU2000i owners say it absolutely does work.

I have two Yammy ef2000's and the genuine Yam Twin Tech cable. The parallel configuration would not reliably start my 13.5 rooftop until I installed an aftermarket start capacitor on the rooftop.

After installation of the cap, the parallel configuration will start and restart the rooftop no problem. A single Yam will not start the rooftop, nor will the parallel configuration running in Eco mode.

I have two of the same gens and the Yamaha Sidewinder parallel adapter and it powers the AC on my 2015 SandSport just fine.

I've read the new V2 have a much cleaner sine wave for sensitive electronics.

Being a mechanic I must say these gens are very easy to work on as far as carburator cleaning. Pop the back cover off, remove the air filter housings it, remove the studs that hold the carb to motor, clean and put back together. Probably a 10 min job once you've done it.
