- Teebucket1313ExplorerSorry I didn't say it's hitting the side when opening and closing. It's hitting on the rear of the slide on the driver side on the vehicle. This happens opening or closing. It wouldn't come in all the way until I gave it a jerk on the front side and then it popped in place and was able to close it. A few years ago I had Camping World in Madison Wi. pulled it out because of a rivet that broke on the bottom slides. I hope they don't have to do that. We are in Lake Park GA. have an it set up to go into the shop. It has been non stop rain and I don't like standing in the wet to try to adjust it. I'll have to let Camping World take a crack at it. Hopefully it won't break the bank.
Thanks for the info,Happy Camping, bye Dennis - doxiemom11Explorer IIWe found an online manual for our powergear slides that had helpful information regarding adjustments.
- MFLNomad IIYou should be able to find info/video on how to adjust your brand/type slide. If you mean it is not centered in the opening, too close/hitting on one side, it should have adjustment to correct. Be aware, sometimes adjustments are a bit of compromise. To make one adjustment perfect, may make another adjustment out of line. If you don't have any experience, it may be best left to a pro. I'm not sure CW would be the first choice. If you could get a good mobile repairman, he could do it on site, and you could learn about adjusting, by helping/watching.
Jerry - wa8yxmExplorer IIII have to ask what you mean by "hitting the opening". and yes there is.
But what the adjustment is depends on what you mean by "hitting the opening".
