Questions about a fuel solenoid for an Onan 7000.

In troubleshooting my non-running Onan 7000 generator the fuel solenoid did not pass a continuity test so I started looking around for a replacement. The Onan part number is 307-2756 but the label ...

The new pump arrived today and just look at the difference in construction. Surely that has to count for something, eh?
