Quick Kwikee kuestion
Hi
I searched in these forums and on the net in general. I still have one question though.
I have the single step on my '02 Coachmen Class A. It is a simple one that does nothing but go in or out when the rocker is pressed. I left it out while it sat for six months in FL. It would not go in. I gave it a push and it went. Later it began to refuse to retract all of the way. It jerks in and out for the last couple of inches and never quite makes it in. If I push it it will go in and the dash light will go out. I flushed out the bearings with a solvent and then greased them all including the ones on the motor/gearbox (which I removed). I am on shore power right now and I have tried it with the engine running to be sure there is 12v. I straightened the linkages slightly also. As I understand it the motor stops when the controller senses an increase in draw showing that it has hit the end of its run. How can I tell if it is the controller, motor or gearbox that I need?ThanksRob
