I have to replace or recertify my 2 30lb propane tanks. Can't find anyone in my area that does 30lb tank swaps. Looking at new tanks, I have seen the Flame King tanks and the Worthington tanks. The W tanks are consistently $20 higher than the FK.
Any significant difference between the two ? Or have any other suggestions ?
Thank you in advance. (If wrong forum, please let me know. )

I took two 20 lb propane cylinders and one six pound propane cylinder to Phillips Energy (804-642-2166) in Hayes Virginia which is just across the Coleman Bridge at Yorktown on Route 17. They are a full-service propane dealer that makes home deliveries as well as businesses. They are located on the left side as you travel North not far from the Coleman Bridge. All three cylinders were inspected and recertified for $5 each. They also sell gasoline, diesel fuel & gasoline that does not have ethanol.
I plan on carrying two of my 30 lb cylinders there to be recertified when they expire next year.
I had two other brand new 30 pound propane cylinders I took to them a couple years ago that U-Haul and Dixie trailer each had not purged and had moisture and air in them that we're causing problems with my furnace sputtering and then shutting down. They were able to burn off the propane from the cylinders, add alcohol to them to remove the moisture, purged and refilled them for me at a very reasonable cost.
I highly recommend them. They recertified and filled the 3 cylinders on a Saturday morning. I called ahead to make sure someone would be there that could do the recertification since it was on a Saturday.
The 30 lb cylinders I dropped off and picked up a few days later were done at a different time.
