RV Gray Water recycling

FYI-Unique Solutions Inc-RV Products Group's address is actually a UPS Store that markets mailbox and postal solutions in addition to Small Business solutions. The UPS Store is at 902 S Randall Rd, Suite C. I'm parked there now-not one RV in sight :-) Draw your own conclusion.

I I where to design my own system I'd be sure to install a backflow preventer on the line going to the toilet! I saw an earlet posts ststoing that they would not want gray water in their fresh water system.

X2 - but I might provide grey water to the outdoor shower for "garden hose" needs.

It may just be me, but I don't want gray water in my fresh water system. Even filtered.

Wow that's pretty cool but a lot of work and money.

I've used my grey water system for about a year now. I have two grey tanks and use only bathwater to flush the toilet. The setup uses a pump, filter, a few valves and pex tubing. I gain about two extra days of water use and when I'm out of fresh water my waste tanks are half full. I also have a 55 gal plastic drum with a demand pump mounted on it. When that is depleted my waste tanks are all full. All told I'm usually good for at least a week without conserving. Cost for the grey water system and extra fresh tank and pump is less then the cost of "your" system.
