In other news, the local Sears is one of the stores slated for closure. I can't say that I'm surprised although I do feel bad for the employees. We didn't shop in there often, but the employees we encountered were helpful. Haven't bought anything Craftsman in quite a while so I can't speak to the quality compared to previous tools. Quite honestly, for no more than I do with hand tools, my Husky set augmented with Harbor Freight for some specialty tools I really only needed once has served me quite well. I do have some older Craftsman socket sets and wrenches that were passed down that I use as well.
