Hard water stain

Nu Finish polymer (wax) does an excellent job of removing surface stains, black streaks, minor scratches in gel coat all while leaving a great shine. I wouldn't recommend anything abrasive, that's plain nuts. Another great product that I use all the time is Super Clean by Castrol (as in oil). A gallon at Wal Mart is about $9, in the automotive section purple jug. This stuff will clean and de-grease just about anything. I trust it more than Awesome sold at Dollar Stores. A diluted mix of it is a mainstay in our laundry room to remove grease stains from clothing with out harm or fading.

A Clean Eraser is abrasive and if pressure is used with it, it will leave scratched in the clear coat of a painted surface ( if you have it) Ask me how I know.

Be careful if using LA's Awesome full strength (test a small spot first). I used it to clean the side of a houseboat, and watched the blue stripe paint melt and run down the side of the boat. I agree that it will not hurt most surfaces.

There are several cleaner waxes that will do this very nicely.

Magic eraser

Mr. Clean Magic Eraser....works wonders!! You might also try a product called LA's Awesome. Don't know what's in it, but it works to clean practically everything and doesn't seem to harm anything.

In my experience with my 23 year old MH if you keep the unit waxed the water stains and black streaks come off easily with a sponge and water.

Just pour some automatic dishwashing liquid right over the stains and let it soak. Then simply spray off, just like a dishwasher would spray your dishes. You may have to repeat a couple times but it will come off. It's made to remove lime and calcium build up (water spots) from dishes. FYI works fantastic on glass shower walls too
