Slide out question

I have a 2010 TT that has a Lippert in frame electric slide out installed. The slide out contains the kitchen (less refrigerator) and 2 lounge chairs. It extends 18" out when extended and is 13 ft wide. When the trailer was new, and I retracted the slide, it would come almost all of the way in and about the last 2 inches or the inside edge would elevate slightly to insure the outside seal. When extending it, the inside edge would remain slightly elevated until it had traveled about 2 inches out, then the slide would drop down and fully extend normally. LATELY.. the slide would retract normally as before, BUT when extending the slide, the inner edge would elevate as before, about 1 inch out it would drop and scrape something / hesitate and then re elevate for another inch or so before leveling and fully extending out. Hope you can understand what I am trying to say, but I am at a loss as to why it suddenly drops then lifts again the first two inches or so before extending.... Help or Ideas??

I will get some pictures of the slide out operation tomorrow showing the first few inches of travel out from the stowed position. They should help explain what I am describing.

When extending before you say it started (remained)from up where it got to on coming in and stopping, went out two inches and then dropped to level.

Now you say going out it first rises to the up level, goes out an inch, drops, goes back up for the second inch then drops to level and continues out?

Please clarify the start position level for going out before and now.

Have to guess since our slide changes height at a different position from yours going out and in, but it does it by riding up ( when coming in) and going off that ( when going out) a plastic curved round-down thing the width of the slide 13 ft along the main floor outside edge. This plastic round down is screwed to the floor.

So my WAG is yours (which I don't understand where it could be since it is not at the outside edge of the main floor as described but inside somewhere, which makes no sense or you would trip on it all the time) has come loose and moves a bit when your slide goes out causing that down and up at the half way one inch out. The round down should be exposed when the slide is all the way out so you can check it.

I am not very happy with that WAG, but it is a start anyway.
