Anyone replaced one of these and if so how hard is it I have a 08 Fleetwood Fiesta and the living room slide leaks and I noticed the wiper seal does not reach all the way down to short the slide has a awning on it as well and it is about 12' to 13' long.

The wiper is just that, a wiper to clean moisture off of the slide when retracting. If you are seeing moisture inside only when retracting when wet then the wiper could be at fault. If you are getting moisture with the slide in or out then the wiper is not the issue. The actual seals are on the inside. If you retract the slid about a foot you can then run your hand around the seal from inside the Rv. If the seals appear to be good with no tears then the slide may may be out of adjustment and the seals not mating.

If top wiper is not touching roof of slideout and slide out leaks even with a topper (awning) then slide out needs adjustments.

Sounds like slide out is sitting too low in opening.

Wiper seal shouldn't be reason for slide leaking......slide out should have another type of seal on inside and outside that seals opening. Wipers just 'wipe' debris/moisture off as slide moves

Seals aren't difficult to replace but can be labor intensive depending on type/style of seal (clips/screws/trim-----groves/sealant etc.)

I did not mention that the wiper seal was to short reach the slide top

Did it on a 5th wheel. Not terribly easy, not terribly hard.
