Spare wiring behind Microwave

Know what these unused wires are for, Red Black pair appear to be for D.C. power, Microwave quit working, i removed it for replacement and found these spare wires, not a good spot for solar wiring too the batteries

Does your camper have a radio/ audio system? My cd/radio wires are behind my microwave. The radio is under the cabinet next to my stove. So they feed out the side.

What type of range hood do you have? If 12 vdc light and fan, do they work or never hooked up?

Since the wires are OEM. It may be for a small 500 watt Inverter to power the entertainment system. Those were popular back in the mid to late 1990's. Fleetwood used to have the Power center(Power Converter/12 volt fuse block above the refer back then. But if the wires go in the roof they come out someplace else. Either the Coach battery compartment or by/behind the 12 volt coach fuse center or behind the 120 breakers. Doug

Look around the battery compartment for other end.

The wires go to right and into ceiling with the other wires, there is no voltage,, the DC fuse panel is only 3 ft away directly above the fridge, im dure these are spare 12ga red&black 12vdc type wiring, , i just wonder what for, extra light, another fan, range vent works, ceiling vent works,, all the lights work, its my inate curiosity that is piqued

Maybe not a true 12-volt microwave but run 120-volt microwave via an inverter.

Some of those wires look like 10 gauge?? If so, maybe this was for an inverter, using heavy wire to minimize voltage drop.

Could be direct wired from a generator compartment, if you have one.

Is there any voltage to them? Also, the rest of the wires seem to be overhead and those wires head off to the left. They look a bit too big for unused external speaker wires so that is out. What is off to the left as they seem to go in between the lower cabinet trim panel and the floor of the cabinet but you probably noticed that already. Keep us posted as that is a good mystery!

Many RV's are made with "Standard" wiring harness.. They use the wires they need. And leave the rest "N/C" (not connected)
