microwave problem

Yes just replace with one from walmart. Do check the gfi circuits first.

The fuses look good because any microwave i've seen doesn't use them, they are usually for 12v items. The microwave will usually use breakers, turn the Microwave breaker all the way off then turn it back on. also like above check all GFI outlets.

Microwave is probably plugged into a 110V AC outlet......unplug microwave and check outlet for AC power.
IF outlet has power than internal fuse of microwave has blown. Will need to disassemble microwave to get to that fuse. Some are easy---some not so.

IF outlet doesn't have power than check the AC circuit breakers for one being tripped (should be labeled Microwave).
Reset the CB then plug microwave back in...if CB trips again......microwave is shot.
Take measurements and find a replacement

1. Check the circuit breaker that feeds the circuit for the microwave.
If tripped, reset. If not, go to step 2.
2. Check the outlet that the microwave is plugged into for 120v power.
If no power, check/reset any GFCI's that might be tripped or look for any burned or broken wires at the circuit breaker or outlet terminals. If there is power, replace microwave. If in doubt of anything I just said, have a service tech look at it.

Walmart micros work well. Only problem we know of is the size. We helped a friend trim the cabinet so the micro would fit.

Since keystone does not make microwaves, may I ask what brand and model is it????

When I went to the Grand Canyon last March, my microwave died after about 10 minutes of use. I unplugged it and forgot about it until the nest trip, thinking I needed to get a new one. I plugged it back in just for giggles and it worked. All I can figure is that the installation in the cabinet might not be vented enough and let it over heat or something. No problems since. I do remember that it generated a lot of condensation that time at the Grand Canyon.

My microwave is on its own 20A circuit. Cycle the breaker to be sure it resets.

1st of all, about earlier post, DO NOT OPEN UP THE CONTROL PANEL(touch pad on the microwave) UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING. There is a capacitor inside there that may knock you on your hmm hmm or maybe even kill you if you touch it's terminals.

Procedure:
find the cord of the microwave and unplug it from it's outlet. Get any 110v appliance that you know works, and plug it into the same outlet. If that appliance works, then either get a new microwave, or take it in to be repaired. Could be just an internal fuse.
If the appliance doesn't work, then go to the breaker panel and check the breakers. Most likely one is tripped. Probably is even labeled "MICROWAVE".

Replace the microwave if it a "stand alone" unit.be sure to vent it to the existing vent. Otherwise you will have a moisture buildup or worse. Aluminum vent pipes are available from Lowes Home Depot or similar store. The flat vents are about $20 and the other fittings,are a few dollars.
I replaced a keypad and a circuit board on a 6 year old microwave in 2008. As posted previously DO NOT open the unit unless you have knowledge of appliances. The parts were about $ 115 with shipping. Was a pain to track down the parts. The main reason I opted to repair was the microwave panel also controlled the exhaust fan and the exhaust fan would start automatically if the cook top passed a certain temp.
