Have been appliance tech for 20 years.
1st of all, about earlier post, DO NOT OPEN UP THE CONTROL PANEL(touch pad on the microwave) UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING. There is a capacitor inside there that may knock you on your hmm hmm or maybe even kill you if you touch it's terminals.
Procedure:
find the cord of the microwave and unplug it from it's outlet. Get any 110v appliance that you know works, and plug it into the same outlet. If that appliance works, then either get a new microwave, or take it in to be repaired. Could be just an internal fuse.
If the appliance doesn't work, then go to the breaker panel and check the breakers. Most likely one is tripped. Probably is even labeled "MICROWAVE".
