SPARK PLUG WIRE REPLACEMENT IN ONAN 7000 GENSET

My friendly local field mice decided to munch through the genset wiring. Want to replace so pulled out the genset, removed the cover but cannot see how to get to the two ends of the wires. The plug ends are easy but the other end disappears through the bottom of the unit.
Any genset whizs here?
Thanks!

Onan does not offer cables separate from magnetos. Fairly involved procedure to replace, as the engine and mount base must be removed from main base tray, belt and pulley guard removed to access magnetos.
Not difficult, but you have to have someway to lift engine, such as a engine hoist or several very fit friends!
In an emergency, you might be able to splice new sections of cable, but remember these cables carry several thousand volts when firing, so must be insulated very well.

I purchased new Onan cables - their core is stranded metal - the OEM which I need to splice to is fiber. Can the two be spliced?
    Thanks!
  • Go to grocery store

    To fruits & vegetables

Purchase 3 HABANERO CHILIES, bottles stuff is weak get fresh fruit.

CUT IN HALF wearing gloves is an absolute necessity - oil will burn skin like acid

SMEAR juice on exposed wires and hoses. Squeeze and smear.

If you think Americans are repulsed by white hot chiles, rodents are more so.
