- HuckleberryHuntExplorerI'll be curious about this. A friend of mine just bought a Sportsman dual fuel 4000(?) or something like that to take on our upcoming trip to Yellowstone. I'm interested to see how it performs compared to our Honda eu3000is on the trip.

I have one of the Sportsman dual fuel generators, and am well pleased with it in every way. It runs perfect and it's so nice to use propane instead of messy gasoline. Yes, I would buy another one... if I needed it.
Have you used it above 3000 ft? In communique with company, they mentioned a high-altitude kit is available ...
Thanks. - GulfcoastExplorerI have one of the Sportsman dual fuel generators, and am well pleased with it in every way. It runs perfect and it's so nice to use propane instead of messy gasoline. Yes, I would buy another one... if I needed it.
- LwiddisExplorer IIHIGH altitude is 3,000 feet? That’s a laugh.
- MiniAdventuresExplorerYup - that includes me. Thought that was only with their older unit, but, you are absolutely right. Thanks.
- LynnmorExplorerHad to look it up and found this: "High altitude use: This generator is not recommended for high altitude use above 3,000 ft." That might be a problem for some.
