After giving it three seconds thought might one want to bypass the heater to work on it or replace it while still living in the RV?
I've never looked at it but is there a drain? And I really like Dick's answer.
Many commercial installs have bypass valves even though they are designed to NEVER be shut off,, For just that reason.
Nope, no drain. It's tankless. - 1. They may just have the bypass system despite what model water heater
2. Girards do not have a drain
3. Yes, you have to blow them out and add antifreeze to winterize, but, maybe you do want to use the water system and not have to worry about the water heater after winterizing. Easier to then drain and winterize without blowing out the Water heater again and adding the antifreeze. Doug - wa8yxmExplorer III
