Fuel injection doesn't need to mess about with propane as there are no jets to clog. Had a 25hp EFI Outboard and fuel issues were a non-issue as there was no carb to gum up. Propane options are mostly to solve carb issues.
So why do so many put Stabil in the fuel tank for storage. Even on an injected motor home. Or people commonly recommend draining the fuel if it has not run for a year.
Mostly....because that's what grandpappy taught them to do.
Of course, fuel can degrade given enough time...but that's a separate issue from the carb/injectors getting gummed up.
